We stopped at Morongo Casino for buffet lunch. For an item I did not like, there were other choices to satisfy my appetite. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet lunch especially at the low price. At end of meal, server offered tea or coffee.
The fudge like dessert was too sweet for my sweet tooth. The chocolate chip cookies were just hard enough. The usual melons available lacked the expected sweetness though. (Orange jello was provided.) For the first plate, I chose jello, pizza, fried rice, chicken, Chinese broccoli and Chinese string beans. I am easy to please especially if jello is offered. The roast was dry and ham was not much better but the rest of the food we selected was good. The tables look full of people but there were no lines for the food. The server was attentive in clearing the plates and refilling our drinks.
We walked straight to the cashier and were promptly seated. On this Friday, there was no line at 2pm. To receive the discounted buffet price, we were required to become Reward card members.
We were planning to eat at outlet center nearby but the outside advertised price of just over $10 for buffet lunch was too enticing.
